How it works - 3 step process

Congratulations on taking responsibility of your health. We understand that your time is valuable.

If you have a skin lesion or lump that requires biopsy or removal and which can be performed under local anaesthetic, upload your completed forms (patient history and registration) and photos to SDSS so that we can streamline the process.  Please be sure to include at least one close-up and one distant photo of the area to be treated in the  upload photos page.

Once our doctors review your information and determine if you are suitable for SDSS, our staff will contact you to provide a quote and schedule the procedure. If we believe you are unsuitable for SDSS, you will also be notified and advised to see your GP for a formal consultation.

Whilst we do prefer a referral from your GP to access our service and help co-ordinate your care, we will also accept self-referrals via email (in addition to the completion of the above 3 step process). This is as we understand it is not always easy to take time off work to obtain a referral.
